EASTER
We packed up the car again this weekend and headed to New Jersey. Ella is a very lucky little girl and received five more Easter baskets this weekend! I don't think she realizes how lucky she is to get so many gifts, but Mommy and Daddy were very grateful! Ella didn't nap very well on Saturday, so on Sunday she was a little cranky and not as pleasant as she usually is, but we made it through the day. In the morning we went to PopPop and MiMi's for an early lunch and spent the day there. Around 3:00 we headed over to Aunt Jo and Uncle Blair's for dinner. Aunt Jo set up an Easter egg hunt in the front yard for Ella and she loved going around and picking up all the eggs. Since she had so much fun the first time, we then put out the eggs for her to gather five more times to keep the fun going till dinner. We left around 5:00 to get on the road and head home. Ella fell asleep for about 30 minutes and then was very anxious to get home. I'm hoping after a good nap today, she'll be back to her pleasant self again...Fingers crossed! :)

Easter Eggs!
Since we're headed up to New Jersey tomorrow for Easter we decided to dye our Easter eggs at home tonight. Ella was very excited, but she's a little too young to help all that much. Daddy put Ella in charge of the stickers and she seemed to enjoy herself...Until she saw all the pretty eggs after they were dyed. Then she wanted to touch them. Here are a few pictures from our fun filled night of egg dying.

Early Easter in Smithsburg
This past weekend we headed to Smithsburg to see Brian's family. Of course, Grammie and Pappy Rick and Aunt Robin and Uncle Dan, both had Easter baskets for Ella. She loves getting presents and opening gifts so it made her day! On Sunday morning we went to church and Ella was surprisingly very good! The church had "busy bags" with crayons and paper for the kids to play with, which kept Ella busy, along with goldfish crackers and her water. She was pretty restless by the end, but she made it through with little disruptions to the people around us! Here are some pictures from the weekend.
