Our Week In Pictures

When Ella colors Kayla like to do it too! 

Lately Ella has been fighting bedtime, so I only put her down for a nap on days she has school.  On the other days I make her spend an hour or so of "quiet time" in her room.  I guess she was so tired she fell asleep during quiet time.  The overhead light was on and she didn't even turn her flashlight off...Or wake up when I went in to take pictures.

Kayla likes to sit on the potty like her big sissy.  I though she had to poopy, so I put her on the potty, but she didn't go. 

We got Ella another car sear/booster seat for Brian's car.  While it was sitting in the dinning room that's all the girls wanted to play with.  As you can see, Kayla didn't want Ella to sit in there with her. 

Road Trip to Reading, MA

Sorry this posting is late, but it's been a crazy week.  Anyway, last weekend we packed up the car and headed up to Massachusetts to visit The Dyment's!  I was SUPER nervous about the 8 hour car ride,but the girls did great...Even Kayla!  On the way up, it ended up being a 9 hour ride since we hit some traffic.  Kayla and Ella actually slept through most of it.  Ella was so excited to get there and see Aunt Cheley, Uncle Mike and the girls.  They played great all weekend and Kayla didn't get into too much she wasn't supposed to.  We left Monday morning around 6:00 am and this time the ride was only 8.5 hours, but we had more potty breaks and took longer for lunch.  The trip went so well, we're going to do it again this summer.  Enjoy some of the pictures from our weekend.

Since Ella took a nap on the way up in the car we put her to bed late.  The next day she was so tired, she fell asleep while watching a show on the couch.

Our Week In Pictures

Just like Ella used to do, Kayla loves wearing this purse as a hat. 

Ella and Teddy!  Teddy was a special guest in our house this week.  Teddy is from school and each week he gets to go home with a new friend from school.  This week was Ella's turn and we give him back tomorrow.

Annual Pumpkin Picking at Clark's Farm

It's that time of year again...Mid-October pumpkin picking at Clark's farm.  Even though Ella has been there two times in the past few weeks, she still loves going to the farm.  Her favorite things to do at the farm are to go down the rainbow slide, pet and feed the animals and finally take a hay ride to the pumpkin patch to pick out her own pumpkin!  She searched high and low for a golden pumpkin (I think she saw it on TV), but had to settle for an orange one.

Even Kayla wanted to touch and feed the goats. 

She's getting so big and walked a lot of the time.  We didn't even bring the stroller!
