Watch Me Roll Over
I have seen Ella roll over three times before, but I have never been able to catch her doing it with the camera. Now I have!

1st Family Vacation to St. Michael's
This past weekend the Updegraff's took their first family vacation (minus Winnie) to St. Michael's, MD. It's a quaint little town on the Chesapeake Bay and our hotel was right on the water. We stayed from Sunday till Tuesday and we all had a nice time just relaxing. Ella was pretty good and was behaved most of the time. Here are some of my favorite pictures from our trip.

Doctor's Appointment
Today was Ella's 2 month check up. She weighed 9 lbs 14 oz, 25th percentile, and is 22.5 inches, 50th percentile. The doctor noted she measured the same as last month, but the thinks Ella was incorrectly measured at that appointment. Her weight and height are right on track and was told she should have a big growth spurt at her 4 month check up. Ella also received 5 vaccines today. One oral and 4 shots! She was a very brave little girl and only cried for about 20 seconds after the nurse was done.
Her next appointment is on November 9th and she will need another 4 vaccines and hopefully she will grow and put on some weight.

Update - Two Months
Since the update last month, Ella is growing and changing so much. She realizes she has hands and is always putting them in her mouth. Also, Ella is smiling and "talking" all the time. We're still working on getting her to sleep in her crib full time, but she started taking naps in there this week. Only problem is that she likes to sleep on her tummy. As a first time mother it makes me very nervous, so I am constantly checking on her. Brian and I attempted to get her to sleep in her crib Friday night, but she didn't last very long in there. Ella cried for about 5 minutes and when I went to get her I realized she rolled over from her tummy to her back. I couldn't believe it! While I was standing there she did it again, but of course when I called Brian to come watch she wouldn't do it for him with the video camera. Hopefully we'll capture it on film the next time. Ella has a doctor's appointment on the 9th and I'm going to talk to her doctor about tummy sleeping...We'll see what she says about that.
