Right after I took this picture the shopping cart fell forward, Kayla landed right on her face and then she got right up and climbed in there again!  She's fearless and LOVES to climb on anything!

Flood...Big Hole...Broken Camera

Last Sunday we came home to this...  We NEVER go out, but we went out last Saturday night spent the night in Baltimore.  When we came home Sunday morning we found our dinning room completely flooded!  The upstairs toilet in the girls' bathroom runs and I guess something broke and water was pouring our of the ceiling.  Of course our dinning room table is right under the leak.  The wood table completely warped and of course, I left our very nice and expensive Nikon camera on the table so that broke!  I was so upset, but I'm over it now and I ordered a new camera last week.  Hopefully it should get here any day now.  Since I didn't have my nice camera I didn't take many pictures, but I'll post the few good ones I got.

Ella's 3 Year Check Up

Yesterday Ella went to the doctor's for her three year check up and she is doing great!  She weighs 29.8 lbs (50th percentile) and is 37.5 in tall (70th percentile).  No shots this time, so it was a very quick and easy appointment.

Two nights ago while I was making dinner I looked out into the living room from the kitchen to check on the girls and saw Kayla up on the chair.  I couldn't believe she had gotten up there!  I thought she pushed a toy over to the chair to help her up, but when I went to get her down there was nothing around.  I asked Ella what happened and all she said was that Kayla was fooling with the light.  The following day it happened again and yesterday I finally caught her in the act!

Ella's Birthday Party at the Farm

Yesterday we had Ella's 3rd birthday party at Clark's Farm.  We invited all her friends from school and of course, Sarah and Taylor.  She had so much fun seeing her friends and getting to see, feed and even hug the animals!  Sometimes she was a little rough, but she was only trying to love them.

Reaching through the fence, putting her arms around the goat's neck to pull it close enough to kiss!  Our tour guide said the goats didn't have teeth on the top, but I was still worried she would get hurt or hurt them! 

The tour guide said the baby ducks were very dirty and you shouldn't touch your face or mouth after petting them and to wash your hand right after. 

I guess Ella didn't think that meant she couldn't kiss them!

We didn't have enough time at the farm to open her presents, so after a tubby she was so excited to see what she got! 

Ella's 3rd Birthday!

Ella turned THREE this past Friday and she had the best birthday ever!  When she woke up in the morning, she got to open her presents from Mommy and Daddy (he was home because of the water line).  In the morning she went to camp with some of her friends from school.  After camp, we had lunch at Chick-Fil-A and then went to pick out gourmet cupcakes!  After nap we were invited to Auntie and Uncle John's pool.  Ella had a great time swimming with Coleman and Carter and then we were invited back to their house for pizza.  We didn't get home till 9:00 pm, but Kayla was a trooper and Ella had a really nice day!  Here are a few pictures from the day.

Our Week In Pictures

Sorry it's been so long since my last post, but two weeks we lost power for a day and a half.  Then the following day realized we had a leak in the basement...And needed a new water line, which took three days to install.  Brian was working from home last week, so I wasn't really able to get on the computer.  Were back on track now...Enjoy!
