Sonogram Pictures
Not sure why, but the first two pictures are being posted sideways. Those two pictures are of the baby's profile. In the pictures the baby's hand is touching her nose and the bottom picture confirms she's a girl! Enjoy.

It's a GIRL!
Today I went for my big sonogram and found out were having a healthy, baby girl!! I don't have a scanner to post the pictures from the ultrasound, but everything looked great! After the sonogram I had my 20 week appointment. Unfortunately I gained 7 lbs since my last appointment a month ago, but other than that I'm doing great. I'm actually 20 weeks tomorrow, so I'll post my weekly picture then.

Recent Pictures of Ella
Ella has been really funny this week and I wanted to posted some cute pictures of her. She's still getting into everything and she learned to climb on the coffee table. She thinks it's fun to climb on the table and then get down and then do it again 150 times a day. Ella also knows the morning routine so well, Brian went to get her milk and she was already sitting on the couch covered up with the blanket and trying to turn on the TV. In the last picture she thought it was funny to walk around in Mommy boots.

Play Date with Emery, Sarah and Taylor
18 Month Check Up
Today Ella had her 18 month well baby check up. The doctor said everything looks good and she's doing great. Her ear infection is completely gone and she doesn't need to go back till she's two! Ella even had a huge growth spurt since her last appointment. She is 33.25 in long (89 percentile) and weighs 24 lbs 2 oz (50 percentile). Ella also got one shot today and didn't even cry...That's my BIG GIRL!

1st Time Playing in the Snow
Last night we got about 2-3 inches of snow, so I figured I should take Ella out to play in it. At first she had trouble walking, but I think it was because she was so bundled up. She played, ate some snow, walked around and then cried when it was time to come in. I felt bad we didn't stay out longer, but her mittens were wet and she just got over a double ear infection. I didn't think I should keep her out too long. Here are some of the pictures I took.

I can use a fork!
I didn't start recording till the end of her meal so she was getting a little lazy with it, but she learned how to do it pretty quick. Next is potty training!! ;)

18 Months
Yesterday Ella turned 18 months. I still can't believe we have a one and half year old! Since last month's update, Ella returned to her normal napping schedule about a week later and was great till right after the New Year. One morning she woke up with a terrible runny nose and just wasn't herself. She was barely napping an hour a day, having trouble going to sleep, waking up early and was a complete mess during the day. After a week, I finally took her to the doctors. Luckily I did because she has a double ear infection. She has only been on antibiotics for four days now, but I have seen a huge improvement. I was calling her my little monster, but now she's almost back to being my sweet little girl. I've noticed Ella saying more words, even though I can't always understand what she's saying. Also, she seems to be speaking more and will sometimes repeat what you say, but still I don't always understand what she's saying. Ella has her 18th month well baby check up on the 19th. Stay posted for those updates. Here are some pictures from yesterday of her playing with all her new toys!

16 Weeks
By now I'm sure everyone knows Brian and I are expecting again! On Saturday, I was 16 weeks pregnant and due on June 18th. As you can see in the picture below. I'm much bigger than I was with Ella at this point, but everyone who has been pregnant more than once says that is very normal. Things have been going very well and I've felt much better this time than I did with Ella. I wasn't as nauseous, but I've been just as tired. So far, I've gained 4 lbs and my waist has grown over 3 in! At the end of January I go for my big sonogram. That is when the baby's measurements are taken to be sure he or she is growing properly and hopefully we can find out if we're having a boy or a girl! I will try to post pictures of my ever growing belly every week. Also, you can look back in past posts to read what the baby is up to and how he or she is growing.
