28 Weeks

Baby's Got A Brand New...TOOTH

Today Ella woke up with her first tooth! It's on the bottom right side and I can see the left one is on it's way too. I was able to see where the tooth was coming in, but wasn't sure when it would poke through. Hopefully that is why Ella has been fussy and will start to sleep better. (Fingers crossed!) I can't get a good picture of it, but when I do I'll post for everyone to see.

6 Month Check Up

Yesterday Ella had her 6 month check up. She was 25.75 inches long and weighed 13 lbs 6 oz, which puts her in the 50th percentile for height and 10th percentile for weight. Her doctor was super excited she is back on the charts for weight! She also had 4 vaccines, 3 shots and 1 oral. She did really well and only cried for a few seconds. The doctor thinks she's doing great and doesn't need to go back until she's 9 months!

27 Weeks

Play Date

On Saturday I got together with some girlfriends from college at Michele's house. Carrie brought Emery and we got some really cute pictures of all our little girls!

6 Months

Another month has gone by and Ella continues to grow and amaze me everyday. Hard to believe she's half way to being a one year old! Lately she hasn't been sleeping well at all. Brian and I think she's teething or at least that's what we hope is keeping her up at night. Since last month she is "talking" so much more and even yelling now. She can almost sit up, but has to lean forward and can only do it for about 5 seconds until she falls over. She gets even more excited when she sees Winnie and loves getting kisses from her. This past month I have also introduced her to pears and zucchini, which she loves and cauliflower that she's not too into yet. I think she has been putting on weight too. Her next appointment is on the 11th and I will keep everyone posted on how that goes. Here are some recent pictures.

26 Weeks

Ella is getting too big to get a good picture laying on the boppy and she doesn't like laying still long enough so I can take the picture. Since she can't quite sit up on her own she is propped up with the boppy on the couch.

Happy New Year!

Last night we stayed in and had our friends Mike and Michele come over with their twin girls, Sarah and Taylor, who are 9 weeks old. Ella went to bed at 8:00, but of course didn't want to miss the ball drop and woke up at 11:00 and stayed awake till 12:30. I wasn't able to get a picture of all the girls together, but here's one of Ella and one of Sarah and Taylor.
