Dyment Girl's 1st Birthday Party

Yesterday Sarah and Taylor had their 1st birthday party! Ella had a great time playing with the girls and a few other kids that were there. Ella played fairly well with everyone, but had a great time eating cake and all kinds of junk food. She didn't even get her afternoon nap, but I think all the sugar kept her awake. Lucky for us she slept till 8:10 this morning! As you can see Sarah and Taylor enjoy their first taste of cake!

Hay Ride and Pumpkin Picking

Today we went to Clark's Farm with the Dyments. Ella had a great time seeing all the animals, but her favorite part was the hay ride to the pumpkin patch. She was even able to pick her own baby pumpkin to take home. Here are some pictures from the day.

PS. GO PHILLIES!

15 Month Check Up

On Wednesday Ella went for her 15 month well baby check up. She weighs 22 lbs. 10.5 oz (50 percentile) and is 30.75 in. long (73 percentile). She also received two shots and only cried for a few seconds after. She was a very brave little girl and I was very proud of her.

Playdate at the Dyment's

Yesterday we went over to Mike and Michele's to watch the Redskins game. Ella had a great time playing with the girls and they even gave each rides on the train.

15 Months

Today Ella is 15 months and she's getting so big and doing so much! She is still sleeping great and taking two naps a day, one in the morning and one in the afternoon. Ella is really starting to talk, but its still more of babbling. She can say "yes" and usually answers yes to everything you ask her, but I guess that's better than hearing no! In the pictures below with her blocks, she stacked them all by herself and when she was done clapped for herself, as usual when she does something. And in the last picture she is even kissing the blocks. She's very affectionate, but still doesn't kiss Mommy and Daddy as much as Winnie and her toys. Ella's 15 month check is tomorrow and I'll post her new stats.

Recent Pics

Sorry I haven't updated the blog in a while, but here are some pictures from over the past couple of weeks. I had some trouble labeling each picture, but in the first one Ella is having a little naked reading time after her tubby. Then she's just waking up from a nap. Eating raisins for the first time. Next, having a playdate with the Dyments Twins. She likes to watch TV sitting on the couch like a big girl. And in the last two Ella is just hanging out with the Nogle boys.

14 Months

Yesterday Ella turned 14 months and she's doing great! She is walking like a pro and has excellent hand eye coordination. She loves to play with her stacking cups and is able to stack all ten by herself if I hand them to her in order. Ella also loves playing with her Alphabet Pal on the music setting and dances to the songs. It's really cute! I'll try and get a video of that soon. Just recently she started eating dinner with Brian and I and it's been working out great. We even took her out to dinner with us on Saturday night and ordered her a grilled cheese off the kids menu. I'm still making her an all organic meal for lunch, but eating what we eat for dinner is just a heck of a lot easier then coming up with two meals for her a day. Here are some pictures from yesterday. (Just in case you didn't know, University of Maryland had their first football game yesterday and that is why Ella is dressed like a Maryland cheerleader!) Also, in the last picture Ella was able to climb on top of her tree house toy, but didn't realized she could get on to the chair. I'm sure it's just a matter of time before she figures that out.
