CHRISTMAS - Round 2

On Friday we packed up the car again and traveled to Smithsburg, MD to spend Christmas with Brian's family. On Christmas Eve we spent the night at Rick's Brother's house and Ella had a great time playing with all the kids and opening a few presents over there. We stayed till 8:45 and Ella ended up going to bed well after 9:00. Christmas morning Ella woke up around 7:30 and it was a normal day as usually until 8:30 when Dan and Robin came over and we opened up all the presents Santa left for us. Ella was completely spoiled, but she loved everything she got. After we got ready and Ella took her morning nap we headed over to Dee and Howard's for Christmas lunch and birthday cake for Sue and Judy. Ella enjoyed playing and of course eating! At 3:00 we went to Brian's dad's house for more presents and more food! Even though Ella only had one nap she was a trooper and made it till 8:00 and then she crashed and was ready for bed.

CHRISTMAS - Round 1

This weekend we went to NJ to celebrate Christmas with my family. We started the day at Dad and Becky's with the kids, Tom and his girlfriend Bernadette. Ella got a few toys and a tons of clothes there. This was the first time she was actually really good at opening presents. She would find the edge of the paper and tear off little pieces until it was completely unwrapped. After a great lunch it was time to head to Aunt Chris and Uncle Gus's for Christmas with that side of the family. Over there Ella got even more presents and helped everyone else open their gifts. Ella still doesn't understand Santa or the true meaning of Christmas, but is at a great age to enjoy the presents she received. Next weekend we head to Brian's family to do it all again! (Brian was the camera man and I just realized he wasn't in any of the pictures!)

Seeing Santa

Yesterday we took Ella to see Santa. Here's how it went...

17 Months

Today Ella is 17 months old. She's running all over the place and loves playing with the Christmas tree and other decorations, even though she knows she not supposed to. If you ask her where her hair, eyes, nose, ears, mouth, teeth, tongue, belly, belly button, fingers, hands, feet, toes and "where the poop comes from" she'll point to it. Ella has NOT been napping or sleeping well for the past two weeks, but I think it's her teeth again. Just the other day she got four more teeth that all poked through on the same day...I'm hoping that's why she isn't sleeping well and will get back to her normal routine shortly. I'm so sorry I haven't posted in forever, but things have been a little crazy traveling for Thanksgiving and the weekend before. Also, Ella hasn't been napping, so Mommy doesn't have time to go online and post pictures. Here are some recent pictures from our trip to Smithsburg to visit Bri's family, at home with my family for Thanksgiving and some other random pictures at home. Enjoy!

16 Months

On Saturday Ella turned 16 months old. She's still a good little girl, but not napping as well as she used to. Brian and I think her teeth are bothering her again. It looks like she is getting two more teeth on the top and possibly two on the bottom! Here are some pictures from last night.
